Amazon Kindle DX Picture

Sketchy as they may be, Amazon Kindle DX pictures have arrived via Engadget. This will reportedly be a larger model than the Kindle 2, which was released in February. The Kindle DX screen is said to measure 9.7 inches, compared to 6 inches for the Kindle 2, and will allow for easier reading of newspapers, magazines and text books. A built-in PDF reader, long-anticipated, will also reportedly be included. To top it all off, the New York Times may offer discounted subscriptions for $9.95 per month, down from the usual $13.99. As for the pictures, they show a device that looks pretty similar to the existing product, only bigger, obviously. But can you use it to line your bird cage? [via Engadget and the Wall Street Journal]
