DS Lite Dongle Adds GPS
By Jared Newman
The new DSi eradicated the accessory slot from its design, but even if you’re not a modder, the Ranger by Fab Chain is one reason to keep an old DS Lite around after all. The device plugs into the Nintendo DS Lite’s Slot B and uses Google Maps to navigate in 2D or fake 3D. Other features include day and night modes, a USB cable for connecting to PDAs or PCs and built-in rechargable power that doesn’t suck juice from the DS. Pricing and availability are unknown, so if you can’t wait, perhaps an imported PSP dongle is the answer. [Ranger via SlipperyBrick]
