Where Skype would benefit me is when I work abroad in Africa and the Middle East where charges are very high when I call home. I do use O2's international service which reduces the monthly bill a little. Instead I now use my laptop in a Wifi area to make Skype calls to home. Having Skype on my mobile would be a convenience where I don't need to take my laptop everywhere while abroad.
