Sigma DP2 Sports High ISO, Nice Menu
Feb 24, 2009 - By Jared Newman
At the Focus on Imaging convention in England, SigmaUser reporter Richard Kilpatrick spied Sigma’s latest DP2 digital camera, and he’s pleased. Gone is the DP1’s clumsy menu. Instead, there are four quick select buttons for the camera’s main functions and options that are overlaid on the preview image rather than a dedicated screen. Also of note is the 3200 ISO setting — quite the step up from the DP1’s 800 ISO maximum. We’ve already heard that the DP2 is a 14-megapixel camera with CMOS sensor and a 24.2 mm F2.8 lens. Physically, the camera is pretty similar to its predecessor. Still no word on price or availability. [via SigmaUser]
