Kindle 2 Officially Revealed

Although leaked photos (see above) and pricing ($359) had already been swirling about, Amazon has officially launched the latest iteration of its wireless reader this morning.  Our friends at Engadget liveblogged the event, sharing coverage from the initial release to hands-on play.  Kindle 2 includes a “read to me” system that can read aloud from your collection of ebooks when your eyes get a bit tired.  The thinner, more advanced Kindle 2 will officially hit stores on February 24th, being launched with the new Steven King novel UR.
