New Zealand Vigilante Un-Pimps Your Ride

We’ll be the first to admit it (and do so proudly) that we’ve seen some pretty impressive import mods in our day.  Unfortunately, the Vin Diesels, the Xzibits, the Icy Hot Stuntaz and the neighborhood punks of the world have ruined it for a lot of people.  One New Zealander has taken the “boy racer” trend a bit hard– and has decided to fight back.  This vigilante prankster has been spraying expanding foam into the modded exhaust pipes of tricked out imports.  Calling him/herself the “Phantom Expander”, our Kiwi hero has been shutting down tastelessly-tricked Hondas, Acuras, Toyotas and others in a serial fashion.  Having declared his/her aims in an anonymous letter to the Marlborough Express, Phantom Expander has quickly shot up our list of the awesomest people in the world.  Matter of fact, I think its time we took to our own streets to do the same… [via autoblog]
