“Wooo” Phone Sports 3D Display

Japanese gadget fans are getting a new mobile phone to play with. The Ketai H001 “Wooo” — branded after Hitachi’s HDTV line — has a 3.1-inch 3D screen. Content comes from a dedicated channel that sends 3d movies, games and pictures over an integrated 1Seg receiver. It’s not clear whether 3D glasses are required, but I’d guess yes. As for the usual specs, there’s a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, Micro SD input for storage and three available colors. Sadly, there’s no word that this will make it out of Japan.
