3D Super Bowl Ads and How to Watch Them

If you haven’t heard, two companies are going high-tech to peddle their wares on Super Bowl Sunday. Commercials in 3D will be shown for the animated movie Monsters vs. Aliens and the beverage Sobe Lifewater. Of course, they’ll look pretty lame without the appropriate spectacles, which you can pick up for free at Sobe displays in various supermarkets. Here’s the full list: Safeway, Vons, K-Mart, Ralphs, Kroger, A&P, Frys, Supervalu, Food Lion, Pathmark, Coburn, Fairway, Fresh Brands, Hy Vee, Nash Finch, Dollar General and Winnie Dixie. Target and Meijer are giving out the glasses too, but only on Saturday. Both ads will air at the end of the second quarter and will feature dancing Sobe Lizards, characters from the movie and current NFL stars.
