Rumor: 15.2-megapixel Sony Alpha A800

This is coming from a translated forum post at the Japanese Web site Photofan, so do with it what you will: Sony is working on a new DSLR, the A800, that has a 15.2-megapixel sensor and ISO range of 200 to 12,800. Other features include high speed flash sync, 23 AF sensors, a new metering and AF sensor with tracking and previous focus, built-in Wi-Fi and 6.5 frames per second burst mode. Supposedly, this will be announced along with three new lenses in March at PMA 2009, so we’ll find out if the photo above looks anything like the real thing. [Photography Bay via Engadget]
