Here’s an idea: let people who despise, distrust or don’t have access to wireless internet use an Ethernet cable for their mobile devices. That’s one of the more unique perks of CompuLab’s exeda. Designed primarily for enterprises — it’s categorized as an Enterprise Digital Assistant — the exeda supports Windows 6.1 and CE6, Android and Linux operating systems and is custom configurable when ordered in bulk. Features include a Marvell PXA270 520MB processor, 128 MB of RAM, a 3.5-inch VGA touchscreen, a backlit QWERTY Keyboard a “capacitive touchpad” that serves as a mouse. There’s also a 2MP camera, a MicroSD slot, 1GB of flash memory and a built-in GPS, microphone and speaker. Pricing will be announced in March, when the exela is released. [CompuLab]
