Rockeridge’s new Vacuum tube amplified iPod speaker system

Rockridge Sound has unveiled a new vacuum tube amplifier iPod speaker system. The speaker system has an AM/FM radio as well as a dock on top for your iPod and outputs sound through two 12AX7(ECC83) speakers. As iPod docks go we really like the look of this one, it could easily blend into a respectable office décor. The company also claims the set-up “provides a softer sound, more natural to your digital DAP”, taking advantage of warm, analog tube technology.   No word yet on pricing or when we could see these hit store shelves.  [via AkibaharaNews]
