CaseCrave: Olympic Mastermind Edition
By Jared Newman
Welcome to CaseCrave, where we make your computer tower feel inadequate. For our inaugural run, we honor Nick Falzone’s Chiaroscuro, a cube-shaped casemod inspired by the Beijing Digital building, which served as the technical center for this year’s Olympics. As it turns out, a fellow modder and friend of Falzone’s named Gert Swolfs actually drew the renderings for the building, and in turn agreed to render it anew in case form. The Chiaroscuro is constructed of wood, lined with aluminum and lit with UV blue acrylic. The casing underneath the main cube holds a full-sized video card. [Bit-Tech via Gizmodo]
