Wear your old computer parts

With the push for everything to “go green” we’ve started seeing a lot of people come up with new and different uses for what might have otherwise been considered “trash.” Some folks over at the University of Chile have taken computer recycling to a new and different level by creating specialty jewelry out of old computer parts.

For the project old mother boards, memory cards, and other computer parts were used to create cufflinks, rings, and other fabulous customized jewelry. All of the products are now for sale in Santiago, no word of when of if we can get them in the US. [via VeoVerdi]
