Here’s a random fact to share around your yule tide celebration.  The most prevalent symbols of Christmas, from the Christmas tree to the Christmas ham, misteltoe and caroling– are all pre-Christian, pagan celebrations of the winter solstice.  They were adopted by Rome in the late 9th century to allow for easier converstion of Germanic pagan tribes that clung to their rituals and traditions.  It’s a fact!
