Wacom Announces Multi-touch Capability for PC

Arguably the top name in sensitive screen technology made a big announcement today. At the WinHEC 2008 Conference, Wacom revealed multi-touch capable screen products for windows. ArsTechnica suggests that “accuracy is within 0.5mm, and the system offers a resolution of 200 ppi and can track multi-touch input at speeds of 100 feet per second.” Pretty impressive– and while we’re not certain that older Wacom hardware can handle the new tech, new Wacom tablets should all be multi-touch capable in the near future… [via arstechnica]
