Mitsubishi’s LaserVue sets start shipping

Mitsubishi’s 65-inch LaserVue TV has started hitting store shelves. The $7k set is available at “select specialty retailers” and uses red, green and blue lasers to project an image onto the screen. The television is reported to have a color gamut 200% NTSC standard, and use less than 200 watts of electricity. [via Engadget]
