Solar jacket charges stuff on the slopes

Charging your gadgets while on-the-go is hard enough as it is without being strapped to a pair of skis screaming down a dangerously steep incline, thankfully that just became a little easier with the Zegna Solar Ski Jacket. The $1,350 jacket packs two solar panels embedded in a detachable collar which are able to charge portable devices such as cellphones and MP3 players. Surely some of the craftier folks out there can stitch something like this together for a fraction of the price after a quick trip to Radioshack. [Zegna via OhGizmo]
