In Detroit, in one of the Big 3 auto company's styling group studios, we were sketching on both Wacom tablets as well as on-screen. This was in '99/'00. However, the big difference here is this unit is small and not as cumbersome as what we had. Our 18" X 24" Wacom tablets were wonderful (I have one as well as the newer "Bamboo" Wacom smaller version) but the monitors we sketched on were as large and had to be mounted down into the drawing table. Awkward compared to this latest Wacom version. Got to salute Wacom for coming up with this idea!! Should help out a lot of designers and companies large and small. Just think, you can take it into a meeting with you! (And sketch ideas as they hit you - or, doodle if it is a boring meeting!) Phil Payne Interesting concept for the small business person(s).
