While the honeycomb is one of natures most impressive feats of engineering, it is also one of the most pleasing to the eye. Italian clock designers Diamantini & Domeniconi recognize the latter in their use of a honeycomb pattern in their Layershex Clock. The Layershex Clock comes in a few different finishes, but we chose the dark wood as shown above. We’ll likely feature many more of D&D’s clocks in the coming weeks, they certainly have some gems in their collection.
