2010 Chevrolet Camaro

Of most American car brands, the Chevorlet cross has lost most of its acclaim over the last few decades. With few exceptions, most of their vehicles are perceived as a “consolation prize”, a third or fourth option for a car buyer– not the most lustworthy of purchases. Children don’t grow up dreaming of driving a Cavalier or a Silverado. Save for the perennially acclaimed Corvette, which hasn’t revved our engines since the classic Stingray, Chevy has put out very few clear winners of late.
There are two cars nearing production from Chevrolet that could promise to make this American brand cool again: the Chevrolet Volt electric car and the concept above, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. Between the 2008 Dodge Challenger and the 2007 Ford Mustang, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro will be a favorite to many in the American muscle car renaissance. Under the hood of the new Camaro is a 6.0 liter V8 engine pushing 400 horses. While Chevy has been quiet on many other details, one thing is for sure– when this thing hits the market, Chevy just might regain its classic edge.
