Good Bye, Wallpaper. Hello Inhabit Wall Flats.
We know our readers as informed, stylish technophiles with a penchant for gadgetry and modern, cool digs. As it is our job to help you stay informed on where we feel the trends are going, we’d like to make an announcement– “Wallpaper and wall coverings are no longer a womans decision. Henceforth, the man shall hold the proverbial brush that covers that naked canvas of the walls in your domicile… but women are totally welcome to do all the painting work, providing that we choose the color.” (just kidding, we know we’re grasping at straws here, ladies)
Inhabit Wall Flats
We at GearCrave have fallen in love a new trend in wall coverings: Inhabit Wall Flats. These 18″x18″ molded bamboo paper pulp flats attach to any flat wall in your home with peel-and-stick adhesives. Turn a boring wall into a modern accent, or give your entire room a contemporary feel with a covering on each wall. Each box includes 10 flats, which means that one box can cover 22.5 square feet. (Don’t have measuring tape? Print out a ruler!). Buy for $84.

The Inhabit Wall Flats come in five different designs, including the Seasaw design shown above. Let’s take a look at the other four: Braille, Bud, Industry, and Shangri-La.

Inhabit suggests that you can install these in any pattern or in any combination of styles to create the desired effect. Personally, we love the Seasaw design, but fortunately- we’ve got more than one room to try these in… Our editor is going to try the Inhabit Wall Flats in his home office. Expect an installation review and some pretty photos very soon! For now, if you’re looking for inexpensive, sexy wall coverings that stand out from the pack, try these wall flats from Design Public for just $84 a box.
